Prohibit the moral justification, celebration, or promotion of mass shootings, terrorist attacks, and violent massacres.


This directive targets:

  • Mass Shooting Celebrations: Praising, idolizing, or commemorating perpetrators of school shootings, bombing incidents, or public massacres.
  • Apology of Crimes Against Humanity: Defending historical genocides, mass executions, or state-sponsored atrocities.
  • Copycat Incitement: Encouraging others to match or exceed the “casualty count” of previous mass casualty events or creating “leaderboards” of violent attackers.

  • Historical and Academic Debate: Neutral historical discussions regarding World War II, ancient warfare, or modern geopolitical conflicts conducted without praise or incitement of violence.
  • Current News Coverage: Sharing legitimate news articles regarding ongoing security events without glorification or derogatory celebrations.

  • Zero Tolerance Policy: Any celebration of mass murder results in immediate permanent exclusion.
  • Content Purge: Delete all associated messages and memes referencing mass violent events.
  • Escalate to Discord Trust & Safety: File a report documenting the perpetrator’s user account.
