title: "Sustained Harassment, Stalking & Interpersonal Intimidation"
description: "Regulating persistent badgering, following users across voice/text channels, and sustained defamation campaigns after cease requests."
---

## Directive Objective
Intervene against persistent, unwanted badgering, stalking behavior across server channels, and sustained malicious campaigns targeting specific members.

---

## 1. Scope and Policy Coverage
Harassment occurs when conduct becomes repeated, malicious, and targeted:
- **Disregarding Explicit Cease Requests**: Continuing to ping, reply, or mock a member after they have clearly requested to be left alone (*"Stop messaging me"*).
- **Channel Stalking**: Systematically following a user into whatever voice channel or text channel they join in order to taunt or intimidate them.
- **Defamatory Rumor Campaigns**: Spreading false accusations, creating disparaging nicknames, or coordinating rumors to ruin a member's reputation.

---

## 2. Exclusion Boundaries and Scope Limits
- **Isolated Disagreements**: A single heated argument, debate, or sharp exchange occurring in public channels that subsides naturally does not constitute systematic harassment.
- **Constructive Community Moderation**: Moderators performing necessary inquiries, issuing warnings, or enforcing server rules.

---

## 3. Escalation Ladder for Interpersonal Harassment
1. **Formal Separation Warning**: Direct both parties to disengage and place each other on `/block`.
2. **Temporary Timeout (1 to 24 Hours)**: Applied to the aggressor if they resume provocative behavior.
3. **Channel Restrictions**: Revoke access to specific channels or issue a server kick.
4. **Permanent Ban**: Issued if the member persists across multiple warnings or alters accounts.
